Audrey Ramirez (Atlantis: Lost Empire)

My first convention cosplay after my hiatus, so I decided to start with something simple and recognizable – Audrey Ramirez from Atlantis: Lost Empire. It was one of my favorite Disney movies at the time and I liked that I’d get to make a pair of vintage style overalls.
I patterned her overalls from scratch and modified her hat pattern from one I found online. I added pockets to my overall pattern for maximum comfort and utility. Both garments were constructed with a rich, blue denim I found on clearance at my local fabric store. The gloves were modified from a pair of oversized garden gloves. Her belt and tool pouch was made with upholstery vinyl and brown faux suede.
Her wig was one I already owned, which I cut and styled to match her look from the movie. I wore a tank top and a long sleeve shirt (not pictured) that I had from my vintage wardrobe.
A great quick project and super comfortable for summer conventions.
